Parting Shots: The Gift that Keeps on Giving

Students at the New Jersey Institute of Technology received a gift recently from the Mid-Atlantic Structural Building Components Association, a chapter of SBCA. Their instructor, Frank Golon Ph.D., P.E., reached out to Keith Myers (Woodhaven Lumber) requesting BCSI handbooks as part of his class curriculum. “I have been using them in my last few lectures and it is a big help having the actual books they can open up and learn to use as opposed to making copies of a few pages,” says Frank. Keith, in turn, went to the chapter with Frank’s request and the chapter agreed to buy enough books to supply everyone in the class with their own copy. “I want to thank the local chapter for their sponsorship of this material, and my students do too.”
