Parting Shots: Spreading Joy

Advantage Truss Company in Hollister, California, had a record year in 2018. They supply exclusively to custom home builders in their market and bid over 1,000 homes last year for the first time in their company’s history (they completed 625 homes). As part of their outreach to the surrounding community, they participate in a local “Lights on Christmas Parade.” Their 2018 entry got a lot of attention. “We were the only entry out of 75 to create a float made from the products they design, manufacture, and sell,” says Jennifer Pfeiffer, CEO and owner. They have had several people from the community approach them in awe of their truss trees. It made for a happy holiday for Advantage Truss and all their employees and they are aiming to spread that joy in 2019. “Helping to rebuild people’s homes who lost them in the recent Camp Fire is a huge push for us,” says Jennifer.
