Madison, WI— First and foremost, BCMC Build is about giving back. The structural building components industry has a strong commitment to not only construct homes but build communities. The economic downturn has highlighted the challenges of achieving homeownership, and BCMC Build strives to help make that American dream a reality, one family at a time.

This year, BCMC Build will partner with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis to build two single family homes—a one-story and a two-story home. The lots reserved for BCMC Build are located within a block of each other. The following organizations have been recognized as BCMC Build Friends, whose total in-kind and cash contributions total $1500 or more:

  • AdvanTech
  • Boise Cascade
  • Eagle Metal Products
  • Hardy Frames, Inc. a MiTek Company
  • Mid South Component Manufacturers Association
  • Northwest Truss Fabricators Association
  • Smart Components by TRUSSED, Inc.
  • SpaceJoist by ITW Building Components Group
  • Wood Truss Systems, Inc.

In the end, two families will benefit directly from this project by receiving newly constructed homes.  These homes can be constructed quickly because they will be assembled using structural building components. These highly-engineered products, including roof trusses, wall panels and floor components, maximize material usage and are easy to install.

Visit to learn more about the project and the local families that will benefit from the dream of home ownership. BCMC Build will take place in downtown Indianapolis, IN on September 19-20 in conjunction with the BCMC Show September 21-23.
