With President Obama re-elected to a second term, implementation of his signature “Obamacare” health care reform law appears to be moving forward at full tilt. Most of the law’s mandates don’t start until 2014, but the statutory deadlines contained in the law mean there will be a significant amount of federal rule-making over the next few months to establish guidance to employers, employees and insurance companies on how the law will be carried out and enforced.

With that in mind, SBCA will be following the Obamacare regulation development process very closely and will be providing updated information and analysis that component manufacturer employers can use to evaluate how this new law will affect aspects of their business, both from a financial and operational standpoint.
