In October 2014, BCMC Build will again partner with Operation FINALLY HOME to build a home for a wounded U.S. veteran during the week of BCMC in Charlotte, NC. While the site and recipient haven’t been chosen yet, the SBCA Capital Area Chapter has already started planning a golf tournament that will be held in conjunction with the SBC Legislative Conference May 7-8 in Washington, DC. All the proceeds from the tournament will go to the 2014 BCMC Build project!
The group got the idea to host the event after the Truss Manufacturers Association of Texas (TMAT) planned a successful golf tournament in San Antonio during BCMC this past October to benefit the project. SBCA Chapters are an integral part of the success of each BCMC Build project, and the collective effort of all who are involved each year is greatly appreciated.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information about the upcoming golf tournament hosted by the SBCA Capital Area Chapter. Registration information will be posted as soon as it becomes available. The tournament will be open to anyone who wants to have a fun day at the golf course, while giving back to a worthy cause.
Competition fuels innovation; giving back to a wounded U.S. veteran through BCMC Build fuels the soul.
