From Summit Engineering's website:

"Pre-manufactured wood truss design and installation requires advanced planning and experienced execution. Long span wood truss design projects of over 60 feet in length should have an erection plan designed by a structural engineer. These long span wood trusses can be unwieldy or unsafe for site workers when not overseen by an experienced structural engineer.

When Summit Engineering performs a designs long span wood truss lift plan, we implement techniques to make the process safe and efficient. For example, we can design sheathing and bracing to be installed on the ground, which makes the truss less flexible and safer to install."
