The BCMC Run is in the books. Ryan Dexter was the rabbit of the group with many right on his tail. Congrats to everyone who participated.

Last night's Annual Meeting was very moving. Scott Ward, Carl Schoening and Joe Hikel won industry awards, and Tony Feaster (pictured at right) was recognized as the Operation FINALLY HOME/BCMC Build recipient.

Today brings a lot of activity with educational sessions and a full day of the show floor. I'm looking forward to Mark Vitner's Economic Forecast to see what we have to look forward to in housing over the next few months.

Welcome to the show! Lots of people are hitting the show floor after two rounds of educational sessions earlier this morning. I sat in on a great presentation by Bob Dayhoff of Shelter Systems Limited on recruiting and training designers (Tips for Training Designers). It's great to see so many people engaged with the various BCMC events.

Big day today at BCMC. Two rounds of educational sessions and the show floor opens, all before noon! I was able to take a sneak peak of the show floor yesterday and was very impressed – lots of machinery and new vendors. I look forward to seeing a bunch of people in the sessions and on the floor.

Just checked in at the BCMC Registration Desk and had to wait in line! When's the last time that happened? Looking forward to seeing lots and lots of people on the show floor and in sessions the next couple of days.

10:03 a.m.
Packed house for Rick Parrino and Keith Hershey's precon session on Covering Your Costs for Maximum Profitability. Should be a great start to today's activities!
