With the March update of Alpine’s IntelliVIEW 15.01 software platform for truss builders, Alpine’s Canadian customers are now able to automatically specify Simpson Strong-Tie framing hardware for their job.

The automated specification of Simpson Strong-Tie products has been available to Alpine’s U.S. customers for several years. With this software update, that capability is now being expanded to Canada.

“We are constantly seeking new ways to add value and increase productivity for our customers,” said Jeff Allan, Alpine’s national sales manager for Canada. “Giving customers additional product options by renewing the working relationship between Alpine and Simpson Strong-Tie accomplishes this objective very effectively.”

“This is a win for Alpine, a win for Alpine customers and a win for Simpson Strong-Tie,” said Mike Petrovic, Simpson Strong-Tie Canada general manager. “This new capability makes it easier for our mutual customers to use Alpine software to specify our framing hardware. We have had a strong working relationship with Alpine for many years, and are happy to have found a mutually beneficial way to work together again in Canada.”

IntelliVIEW is a dynamic, fully integrated software solution for laying out and designing a building’s rough framing elements, including roof and floor trusses, wall panels, precut walls, solid sawn, engineered wood panels (EWP), construction hardware and sheathing. It is the only comprehensive component manufacturing business suite that enables real-time integration across vital business operations for unparalleled productivity.
