Truss Industry Technical Support Council Formed

As part of the SBCA-TPI Realignment, the Truss Industry Technical Support Council (TSC) was formed to facilitate communication and collaboration on technical issues between engineering professionals representing component manufacturers (CMs) and TPI-members.

The first in-person meeting of the TSC will be held in conjunction with the SBCA Open Quarterly Meeting (OQM) in San Diego, California, on February 26, 2019.

Representing CMs on the council are Bob Dayhoff (Shelter Systems Limited), Howard Gauger (Carpenter Contractors of America), Paul Johnson (UFPI), Steve Kennedy (Lumber Specialties) and Mike Kozlowski (Apex); representing TPI members are Christian Chappell (Alpine) Darren Conrad (Simpson Strong-Tie), Matt Vinson (Eagle), Dave Wert (MiTek) and Larry Wilder (Cherokee Metal).
