BFS Purchases Sun State Components

Builder’s FirstSource (BFS) has acquired the assets of Sun State Component’s three operating companies located in Las Vegas, NV, Surprise, AZ, and Kingman, AZ. With this purchase, BFS gains entry into two of the top twenty U.S. single-family metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs), and expands BFS’ operational reach to 40 states.

BFS operates approximately 400 locations across the country, serving 77 of the top 100 MSAs. The company boasts the largest building materials distribution platform for new residential construction in the U.S.
