With the goal of helping component manufacturers find and retain more quality production employees, SBCA’s Strike Force 5 rolled out a short survey earlier this summer to measure how production line employees come into the industry, what influences their decision to stay, and what they think CMs can do to attract and retain more line workers. This survey has garnered several hundred responses so far with some surprising results. See if you can guess how respondents thus far weighed in on the following:

Create your own user feedback survey

How did you do? Do you have a good sense for what production line employees think about working in the components industry? Where do you think your production staff would land?

The goal of the survey is to gather several hundred responses from all regions of the country and use the data to produce a set of recommendations for how CMs can best hone their workforce development efforts with regard to attracting and retaining quality production employees. If you haven’t already, take a few minutes to have your employees participate in this important data-gathering exercise. The survey is anonymous, provided in English and Spanish, and built to be easily distributed to your workers via text or email.
