Dave Anderson to assume the position of President & CEO of Mead Lumber headquartered in Columbus, Nebraska. Mead Lumber is comprised of 43 locations across 8 great plains States including full-service lumber yards, retail locations and truss, wall panel and counter-top manufacturing plants providing a full-range of building materials products and services.

Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. Dave began his career at Hughes Aircraft Company in Tucson, AZ, then worked in public accounting for KPMG in Omaha, NE, before working 16 years as the Vice President, Treasurer, and CFO of Millard Lumber in Omaha, NE.  Prior to joining Mead Lumber, Dave was the Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Accounting Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska.  Dave has served on the Millard Public Schools Board of Education for 14 years, in addition to numerous other boards in the greater Omaha area. Following a national search, Dave was appointed President of Mead Lumber on July 1, 2020 and will become President & CEO effective December 1, 2020. He has been a director of the Company since 2017.

Dave is succeeding Craig Bradshaw who has been Mead Lumber’s President & CEO for the past 14 years. Craig will continue to serve the Company as a member of its Board of Directors.
