FrameSAFE v4.1 Adds Crane Ops, Near-Miss & More
This fall, the National Framers Council’s (NFC) safety committee released version 4.1 of FrameSAFE, which reflects member feedback to include new modules on Near-Miss Reporting (section 2) and Crane Operations (section 5). The update also includes an updated Glossary & Appendices section and several new additions to the program’s library of training and safety awareness tools.
“It is exciting to see the program continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the framers who put it to use every day to keep their workers safe,” says Ken Shifflett of Ace Carpentry, who has served as chair of NFC’s safety committee since the organization’s inception. “The committee will continue to focus on NFC’s mission to ‘develop and implement best practices to help ensure framers leave the jobsite each day in the same health as they arrive.’”
