SBCA and Qualtim are pleased to announce that Kirk Grundahl, P.E., has retired after 28 years as the Executive Director of SBCA, effective July 31, 2020. He will, however, continue his work in the structural building components industry through his affiliation with Qualtim. SBCA thanks Kirk for his many years of service to the organization. Both Kirk and Suzi Grundahl will support SBCA in its leadership transition following Kirk’s retirement, and will help in any way that they can to ensure the future success of SBCA and Qualtim staff. While Kirk will no longer be involved in providing recurring (day-to-day) services for SBCA, he will continue to provide project support at SBCA’s request.

SBCA is in the process of conducting a search for a new Executive Director and will announce their hiring decision in the near future.
