New SBCA Store Matches Modern Shopping Experience
“It’s 2021 and everyone is used to shopping online,” says Keith Kylmala, owner of Kylmala Truss who recently used SBCA’s new online store (pubs.sbcacomponents.com). “SBCA’s new store finally matches what you expect and experience with most other online retailers today.”
Indeed, the new store is a faster, easier, and more secure way to purchase SBCA products. Products are now prominently displayed with large images and clear pricing, and are clearly separated into just a few categories. CFS steel products are separated out from wood products, and Canadian products also have their own section.
“It’s just so simple and straightforward to find what you’re looking for and buy it,” says Keith. “The old catalogue was difficult to navigate and full of so many confirmation steps that added a lot of complexity to a simple order.”
Just add the items you want to purchase to your “cart” and check out when your ready. Member and non-member pricing will be applied, members just need to login using the email address SBCA has on file to receive their discount. Best of all, every major credit card is accepted at the point of purchase.
The new platform provides an improved experience with check out and payment options that are compliant with the payment credit industry’s (PCI) latest standards for maintaining a secure credit information environment. This means all payment are hassle-free and worry-free. Please note if an order will be over $5,000, a purchaser can contact SBCA staff (firstname.lastname@example.org) and arrange for a separate invoice.
Like other online ordering systems, a confirmation email is generated once an order is complete. Upon shipment, a separate email is sent that provides tracking information so you know exactly when your order will arrive.
With hundreds of publications, online tools, and documents, please note that some SBCA items are not yet available on the new platform. If you don’t see something you would like to order, please do not hesitate to submit a request to SBCA staff (email@example.com).
