Virtek® is excited to announce the product name change of Virtek® Trussline® to Virtek® IRIS™ Truss plus a new release to the latest software. The same best-in-class and reliable solution with special enhancements to cater even more to the truss industry.

“Sean Francoz, Virtek’s Sr. Group Product Manager explained, “We have new software enhancements available in this release, which include seamless integration with MiTek Wizard to help control the new IRIS™ Truss software. Additional support for board height changes, and further enhancements for floor truss, floor cassettes, and panel production."

The new software package will continue to enhance floor truss production. As always Virtek’s enhanced automatic calibration, unlike other systems in this industry, which only have on-demand calibration, users can be assured they will have a continuous accurate projection build process.  Using Virtek lasers gives the ability to virtually eliminate build errors that result in costly rework.

For over 30 years, Virtek® laser projectors have the legacy of providing templating and assembly solutions for the construction industry. Specialized in component manufacturing equipment, specifically for roof truss, floor truss, floor cassettes, and wall panel production. With Virtek laser solutions, virtually eliminate the use of a measuring tape, squaring, and excessive paperwork so even the most complicated trusses and wall panels can be built quickly and accurately. Virtek lasers take the thinking out of the process and allow for heads-down production so that more experienced employees can do higher-value work and less experience can immediately contribute to your bottom line.

We are excited for what’s to come for this industry in the coming months. For questions and to learn more about this latest software release, please contact Dean Kirby, at or visit
