BCMC

The 38th annual Building Component Manufacturers Conference (BCMC) took place in late October at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Big C Lumber in Dowagiac, Michigan has been partnering with Southwest Michigan College (SMC) since 2017 to build a pathway for future employees.

“This was a great venue, with so much energy and a lot of activity on the show floor,” said BCMC Committee member April Burt of Simpson Strong-Tie.

“This is the best BCMC I have ever been to,” said Dallas Austin of Big C Lumber, a loyal attendee since 2011.

As hundreds of component manufacturers, suppliers, and others converge on Columbus, Ohio this week for BCMC, we want to keep those who are unable to attend up-to-speed on what is taking place.

When you’re walking the show floor at BCMC this week, make sure to stop by SBCA’s booth, staff would like to know what is happening in your business, your life and gain the benefit of your point of view, so we can serve well!

The Harvard Business Review published an article entitled, “How to Get the Most Out of a Conference,” which provides some excellent advice on how to get the most value out of your attendance at BCMC next week in Columbus, Ohio.

Plan now to gather with 800+ fellow component manufacturers to learn, innovate, collaborate, and Set Your Course for success in 2020!

In light of recent ransomware attacks targeting component manufacturers (CMs), BCMC is offering educational sessions geared toward IT professionals in the components industry.

This year’s BCMC educational session lineup includes a session designed to protect your business from product defect litigation.
